Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Deshone Porter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Sir Jr! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sir Jr lands a head shot. Porter on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Porter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sir Jr. A swing and a miss from Sir Jr. A little feinted left hand from Porter on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. A big left from Sir Jr misses. Sir Jr misses with a hook. Sir Jr throws a poor cross that misses
and Sir Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Porter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Porter takes a shot right to the bread basket. Porter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Sir Jr misses with an uppercut. Porter saw that one coming. Porter missing with a left hand there. Sir Jr was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Porter swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sir Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Porter misses with a hook
and Sir Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Porter scores with a hook to the body. Sir Jr takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Decent striking displayed by Porter there. Porter misses with a wild combination.
Sir Jr throws a series of punches but Porter avoids them all with ease. Sir Jr defending well as Porter loads up on a big left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Porter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sir Jr dodges the punch combination from Porter.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sir Jr. Porter does a little dance to reset his feet. Porter ducks under a wild hook from Sir Jr. Porter looks to score with a jab to the body but Sir Jr is just out of range. Sir Jr throws a hook but Porter avoids it easily. Porter looks to land a left hand but Sir Jr moved out of range nicely. Sir Jr throws out a loose jab but Porter uses good head movement to avoid it. A big left from Porter misses. Porter missing with a left hand there. Sir Jr was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Porter misses with a hook
and Sir Jr counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Sir Jr misses with a double jab.
Sir Jr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Porter. Sir Jr looks to land a combination. Porter sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Porter catches Sir Jr with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sir Jr scores with a jab to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Porter throws a looping overhand right but Sir Jr ducks down to avoid it. Nice body punch from Porter. Sir Jr looks winded! Porter's corner calls for a 1-2. Porter obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Porter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sir Jr takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Sir Jr displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Porter throws out the jab. Porter lands a slapping body shot.
Porter cracks Sir Jr with a hook to the temple - Sir Jr is on wobbly legs here! Porter swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Sir Jr falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Porter wins by TKO!
