Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rex Ruger (ranked 1261 p4p, 42 weight class) and Adriano Silva (ranked 1696 p4p, 68 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a front kick aimed at Ruger's knee but Ruger avoids it well.

Ruger closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Ruger pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ruger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Ruger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ruger fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Silva to the ground. Ruger is now in Silva's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
