Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Meme Cena (ranked 5708 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Woods (ranked 8333 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Woods is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Meme Cena! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Woods! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woods shoots in but Cena avoids the takedown attempt easily. Woods tries for a takedown but Cena sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Cena misses with a head kick.
Cena stuffs the takedown. Meme Cena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Woods. Cena with a nice cross. Cena shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Woods pinned against the cage. Woods gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Woods tries to counter with a clinch but Cena shakes him off and moves away. A slapping leg kick lands for Cena.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cena is defended easily by Woods.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cena shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Woods as he jumps to the side. Woods misses the shot to the body. Cena looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Cena is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Woods! Woods is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Woods tries to reverse the position but Cena maintains control. Woods manages to regain half guard. Good work. Cena keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Woods is trying to maintain the position but Cena is very close to passing his half guard. Cena wants to control but Woods is keeping him busy. Woods is looking for a sweep. Cena is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cena working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Cena trying to control the action but Woods is working from the bottom. Cena is really struggling to control Woods but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woods regains full guard. Nicely done. Woods has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Cena is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Cena makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Knees to the body from Cena.
Woods is defending well against a takedown attempt. Woods pulls guard successfully.
Woods is trying to keep Cena in close.
Cena drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cena jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Woods working a defensive guard but Cena manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cena staying calm. Woods holds on to Cena's head and controls the position momentarily. Woods trying to remain calm as Cena controls from the top position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cena stands up and we're back to a striking position. Cena fails in his attempt to clinch. Cena blocks a head kick by Woods.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Meme Cena dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Woods tries for a takedown but Cena circles away easily and Cena makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Good shot there by Woods. Cena closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Woods's guard. Woods is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Cena presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Woods tries to pull guard but Cena won't allow it.
Cena lands a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cena is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Cena trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cena content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Woods has locked up a guillotine! Woods's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Cena is holding on here and Woods must be using up a lot of energy. Cena has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Woods gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
