Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Test avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've been hearing reports that Dones has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Test checks a leg kick.
Dones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Test defends it nicely.
Test misses with a looping right.
Test misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dones.
Dones tries to counter with a takedown but Test is quick to defend against it.
Dones staying out of range there.
Test connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dones fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Test throws a hook but Dones blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Test keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Dones shoots for a double leg takedown but Test sprawls well. He's pushed Dones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Test throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Island Test seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Test connects with a body shot that sends Dones's belly button to the back.

Test jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Test throws the left hand but Dones avoids the punch easily.

Test looks to land a left hand but Dones moved out of range nicely.
Test takes a swing at Dones's ribcage but misses.
Test misses with an uppercut. Dones saw that one coming.
Test uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dones.
Island Test is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dones moves out of range as Test strikes.
Dones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dones lands in his opponent's guard.
Dones tries to free his leg and advance position but Test is retaining full guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Dones throws a big right hand that misses.
Dones is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dones's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Dones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Test works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Test has momentary wrist control but Dones slips an elbow through the middle.
Test keeping moving, preventing Dones from controlling successfully.
Dones works over Test with some ground and pound from guard.

Dones is in close to Test's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dones postures up and lands a big shot to Test's brow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dones working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Test's head.
Dones advances position into side control!
Test is not content to let Dones control the position.
Dones lands an elbow.
Dones trying to control the position but Test is working away.
Test tries to control but Dones manages to take his back.
Dones lands strikes to the head.
Dones throwing damaging strikes from the back! Test could be in trouble here!

Dones is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Test up.
Test is rocked!
Test trying to control but not successfully.
Test is still in real trouble! Can Dones finish him?
Test looks winded!
Dones lands strikes from the back and Test isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bon Dones!
A very excited looking Bon Dones rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
