Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dokonjonosuke Ueda (ranked 24722 p4p, 0 weight class) and First Test (ranked 5942 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dokonjonosuke Ueda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, First Test! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Test shoots in but no luck this time. Ueda with a lazy takedown attempt and Test counters with a left and a right that stings Ueda. A nice combination there by Ueda.
Test misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ueda half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Test fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dokonjonosuke Ueda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of First Test. Ueda keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Test shoots and misses and Ueda makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Ueda slaps away a takedown attempt from Test, before circling back to the center of the mat. Test pushes Ueda up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ueda has Test pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Test manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Ueda has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Test is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Test tries to score a body lock takedown but Ueda shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Test manages to break the clinch.
Test is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ueda sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Test shoots in looking for a takedown. Ueda tries to sprawl out of it but Test keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ueda manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Test darts in and clinches Ueda up against the cage. Ueda is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Test breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Test shoots in for a takedown but Ueda shows good takedown defense. Ueda closes the distance and clinches up with Test, looking for a takedown. Ueda pushes Test against the cage but Test circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Test's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Test duly obliges. Test misses with a takedown attempt - Ueda sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. As Test tries to get set, Ueda tries to push him back and clinch up but Test manages to avoid the attempt. Ueda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Test paws at him with a jab and circles away. Test fails with a takedown attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Ueda.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Test shoots for a double leg takedown but Ueda sprawls well. He's pushed Test's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ueda defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Test. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Test is defended easily by Ueda. Ueda fails in his attempt to clinch. Test is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Ueda with a body shot. Ueda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Test paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ueda fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ueda is breathing heavily. Test has managed to clinch.
Test breaks from the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Test moves into range and clinches up with Ueda. Test escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Test tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ueda swivels and escapes. Ueda shoots in for a double leg but Test sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Test shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ueda defends it nicely. Ueda is looking for a counter combo. Test throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ueda slips a jab and a cross from Test.
Ueda stuffs the takedown attempt from Test. Test gets slowly back to his feet. Test takes the fight into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
First Test dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dokonjonosuke Ueda's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
No joy there for Test, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ueda stuffs the takedown attempt from Test. Test gets slowly back to his feet. Ueda appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Test shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ueda counters with a big head kick but Test shrugs it off. Test dives in and grabs Ueda's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ueda pushes down on Test's head and hops out. Dokonjonosuke Ueda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of First Test. Ueda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Test manages to avoid it. Test looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A decent looking cross lands there for Ueda. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Test moves into range and clinches up with Ueda. Test pushes Ueda back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Test pulls guard effortlessly. Ueda trying to control the position from guard on top but Test is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Test pulls Ueda in close to his closed guard and prevents Ueda from doing any damage or advancing position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Test can do anything to dispel that myth. Test utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ueda is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Ueda trying to control but Test is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Test is striking off his back. Ueda thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Test wants to get back to full guard but Ueda has passed into side control. Test is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Ueda is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Ueda lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ueda is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Test can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Test is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Test wants to control but Ueda is having none of it. Test tries to control Ueda's head but Ueda pushes him back down and moves quickly to lock up an arm here - he's swung around for an armbar! Will he get it??? Yes! Test is tapping out! Lovely Jiu Jitsu there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (armbar). Dokonjonosuke Ueda!
