Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Snow (ranked 4163 p4p, 544 weight class) and Emet Golem (ranked 1463 p4p, 221 weight class). Emet Golem will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emet Golem!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Golem!
Golem throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Snow defending well as Golem loads up on a big left hand.
Snow throws a shot from downtown. Golem moves away and avoids it.
Emet Golem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Golem ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Golem jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Snow.
A big right from Snow misses.
Snow tries to work over Golem's front leg with a kick but Golem checks it.

Snow drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Snow might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Golem is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Snow wants to control from the top but Golem keeps moving.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Snow throws a low kick but Golem moves out of range easily.
Snow throws a jab but it's blocked by Golem.
Despite the aggression on Golem's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Golem moves out of range of the strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Snow. Golem does a little dance to reset his feet.
Golem jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Snow avoids the body shot from Golem.
Snow takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Snow walks into a jab.
Golem ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Golem jabs Snow to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Golem wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Snow takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Golem scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Golem is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Golem takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Golem lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Snow at a distance.
Golem swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Snow.

and Snow counters with a single leg into guard. Golem didn't expect that.
Snow postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Our spies down at at Tayne's 4d3d3d3 Gym inform us that Golem has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Snow throws a big right hand that misses.
Snow is looking to work some ground and pound but Golem has wrist control.
Snow throws a strike but Golem rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Snow wants to control but Golem passes easily into half guard.
Golem prevents Snow from improving his position.
Golem wants to stand but Snow has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Snow tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Golem has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Golem is looking to stand but Snow has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Snow tries to lock up and control but Golem gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Snow is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Snow keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Emet Golem dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

It seemed like Golem was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Emet Golem is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Snow fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Golem to the ground. Snow is now in Golem's guard.

Golem lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Snow circles away quickly and effectively.

Golem throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Snow on the side of the head.

The fighters circle momentarily. Golem darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Snow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Golem sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Snow somewhat.

Snow takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Golem digs a right hand into Snow's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Snow's gas tank.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oh Snow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Emet Golem showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Golem lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Snow falls backwards - clearly groggy! Golem dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Emet Golem!
Emet Golem really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Aspire Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
