PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brak Maugøn (ranked 1314 p4p, 132 weight class) and Justin Biggs (ranked 2319 p4p, 212 weight class). Maugøn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Save Me!!. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biggs throws a body shot but no joy.
Biggs throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Maugøn.
Maugøn takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Justin Biggs has been cut.

Maugøn feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Biggs sprawling to the canvas! Biggs rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Maugøn finish him?!

Biggs shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Maugøn eats them both and turns towards Biggs to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

That was a close round but I would say that Brak Maugøn will probably get the nod.

Maugøn drops Biggs with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Biggs looks back up at him and smiles so Maugøn waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Justin Biggs's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A very excited looking Brak Maugøn made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
