Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Stubb (ranked 601 p4p, 20 weight class) and Leif Eirikson (ranked 553 p4p, 29 weight class). Eirikson has chosen If I had a heart as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stubb scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Eirikson doesn't seem bothered though.
Stubb misses the shot to the body.
Eirikson takes a swing at Stubb's ribcage but misses.
Eirikson swats away the attempt to clinch by Stubb.
Eirikson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Eirikson misses with a body shot
letting Stubb counter with a right hand.
Eirikson misses with a body shot
and Stubb cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stubb gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Eirikson throws a jab but it's blocked by Stubb.
Stubb throws a right hand that misses
and Eirikson counters with a left to the body.
Stubb misses with a looping left.
Eirikson's coach down at Lovelair Muay Thai/MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Eirikson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Eirikson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Stubb lands a jab to the nose.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Eirikson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Stubb misses with a left hand
and Eirikson counters with a nice body shot.
Stubb takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stubb throws a lazy right hand but Eirikson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Eirikson jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Stubb gets a clinch.
Eirikson misses with the head strike.
A right hand to the body from Eirikson.
Stubb is breathing heavily.
Eirikson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Eirikson scores with a nice hook to the head.
Eirikson lands a nice uppercut.
Eirikson throws a big uppercut that drops Stubb! More strikes from Eirikson and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Stubb lies dazed against the cage as Eirikson celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leif Eirikson!
An out of breath Leif Eirikson thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
