Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Mubango (ranked 998 p4p, 33 weight class) and Doctor Doolittle (ranked 1947 p4p, 54 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mubango might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jessie J - Bang Bang. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mubango fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Doolittle avoids the body shot from Mubango.
Doolittle lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mubango's sensitive parts.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Doolittle checks a leg kick.
Mubango misses with the body kick
and Doolittle counters with a nice uppercut.
Doolittle steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mubango. That one must have hurt.
Doolittle lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Doolittle avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mubango throws a chopping leg kick but Doolittle manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Mubango throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Doolittle stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Doolittle swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Mubango closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Doolittle dodges the ground and pound from Mubango.

Mubango has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Mubango has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mubango has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Doolittle is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mubango yanks on the arm and Doolittle is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mubango.
