Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Navid Prescott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Charles Hervy! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hervy lands with an overhand left. Hervy throws a series of strikes that have Prescott backpedaling.
Prescott fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hervy avoids it really well and circles away. Hervy lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Hervy swats away the attempt to clinch by Prescott. Hervy throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Prescott stumbling backwards into the cage! Prescott bounces back off the cage towards Hervy, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Hervy lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Hervy celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Charles Hervy! Our winner, Charles Hervy, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
