Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Wildhauser (ranked 901 p4p, 107 weight class) and Ilya Yaj (ranked 612 p4p, 77 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Wildhauser! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ilya Yaj! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wildhauser has managed to clinch.
Yaj softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Wildhauser blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Wildhauser displaying some good clinch control by pressing Yaj up against the cage. Wildhauser has Yaj pushed against the cage. Wildhauser definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Wildhauser content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Yaj stops a takedown attempt from Wildhauser.
Yaj blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Wildhauser. Come on Wildhauser - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Frank Wildhauser. Wildhauser clinches with his opponent.
Yaj is pressed up against the cage. Wildhauser has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Yaj down to the mat. Yaj avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wildhauser is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wildhauser clinches up against the cage. The referee calls for Wildhauser to work.
Yaj throws a punch but it's blocked by Wildhauser. Wildhauser stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Wildhauser drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Wildhauser. That's going to take a lot out of him. A short right from Yaj. Yaj softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Wildhauser is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Yaj blocks an uppercut.
Yaj lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Wildhauser takes a shot to the head. Yaj looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wildhauser has Yaj pushed against the cage. Yaj misses with a punch to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Yaj. Wildhauser turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Wildhauser manages to end up in side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wildhauser is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Yaj looks calm but he's in trouble here. Wildhauser gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Yaj is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Wildhauser lets go of the hold and Yaj can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Frank Wildhauser! Our winner, Frank Wildhauser, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
