Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ghaal Perro (ranked 7391 p4p, 569 weight class) and Julio Cesar Sitsongrit (ranked 6674 p4p, 539 weight class). The key to victory for Ghaal Perro has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ghaal Perro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julio Cesar Sitsongrit! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sitsongrit throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Perro counters with a good, hard body kick but Sitsongrit shrugs it off. Perro throws a leg kick but Sitsongrit checks it. Perro throws a low kick but Sitsongrit avoids it. Perro misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sitsongrit.
And Sitsongrit tries to counter it with a takedown but Perro pushes his down on his head and steps out. Perro ducks under a wild hook from Sitsongrit. Perro swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Sitsongrit swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Perro dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sitsongrit. That did some damage! Perro lands a jab to Sitsongrit's midsection. Perro scores with a leg kick.
Sitsongrit scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sitsongrit controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perro stops Sitsongrit from passing to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Sitsongrit tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sitsongrit has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The referee asks Sitsongrit politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Sitsongrit prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sitsongrit advances nicely into full mount. Sitsongrit forces the positional change into back control. Perro is trying to defend against the choke here but Sitsongrit has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Sitsongrit Tightens the hold and Perro taps out furiously! Sitsongrit displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Julio Cesar Sitsongrit!
