Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between crash punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). punch comes to the cage accompanied by in the end. crash punch had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
punch scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nice sprawl there from punch as Gray shoots in.
punch's corner calls for a 1-2. punch obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Gray swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and punch counters with a shoot takedown. Gray fights it but they end up in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

punch feints and then cracks Gray's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gray down.

Gray has punch pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. punch manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for crash punch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
punch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gray regains half guard there - taking advantage of punch's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
