The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shields shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Trippa eats them both and turns towards Shields to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Jack Trippa has been cut.
Shields lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Trippa throws a leg kick
and Shields cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Shields lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Shields throws a right hand that Trippa ducks under and follows up with a left that Trippa also avoids with ease.
Trippa takes a jab right on the kisser.
Shields fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

and Shields counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Shields is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Trippa is looking to clinch but Shields is avoiding it.
Trippa connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Shields to the floor! Trippa dives in looking for the finish!

It looks like Ray Shields has been cut.

Trippa is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
