The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bater has Burns up against the cage in a clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Bater.
Good body shot from Bater.
Bater lands a shot to the body.
Bater digs a right hand into Burns's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Burns's gas tank.
Bater lands with a short shot to the head.
Bater lands a body shot in the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Bater as the two fighters clinch.
Bater keeps control of Burns as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Bater blocks an elbow strike from Burns.
Bater lands a left hand.
Bater pushes Burns back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Burns is breathing heavily.
Burns is trying to pull guard but Bater has him pressed against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Burns is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've been informed that Bater has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Bater creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Burns with a big uppercut! Burns tries to clinch up but Bater pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Burns to the mat! Burns covers up and Bater unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
