Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Parker (ranked 3181 p4p, 333 weight class) and James Neil (ranked 2378 p4p, 265 weight class). Neil has chosen Allman Brothers Band - Midnight Rider as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alex Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Neil! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker tries a low kick but Neil avoids it. Parker lands a leg kick that knocks Neil off balance momentarily. Parker throws a leg kick but Neil checks it. Parker jabbing away but nothing is landing. The fighters circling - Neil throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Parker throws a counter high kick but Neil was just alert enough to avoid it. Neil with a body punch. A glancing blow. Neil connects with a high kick. We've been told by Parker's head coaches at Tōshi that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Parker feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Neils jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Parker throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Neil is looking to slow Parker down with leg kicks. Neil shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Parker's guard. Parker scrambles and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Parker scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Neil scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Neil avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Parker misses with a looping right. A little jabbing left from Neil on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neil with a body punch. A glancing blow. Parker connects with a solid leg kick. Neil misses the jab. Neil lets loose with a powerful body kick. Parker will feel that in the morning. Parker is breathing heavily. A slapping leg kick lands for Neil.
Parker throws a leg kick that is checked and Neil makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Parker throws a low kick but Neil avoids it. Neil doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Neil scores with a takedown into Parker's guard. Neil trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Neil won't allow Parker to sweep him here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Neil is in close to Parker's body, working some short punches and elbows. Parker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Neil slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Neil trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neil passes Parker's left leg - he's now in half guard. Neil is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Parker is trying to get back to full guard. Neil is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Parker is looking to improve his position.
Neil lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Neil wants to work for an arm triangle but Parker is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Neil looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Parker keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Parker is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neil is nestled in close to Parker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Neil dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Parker throws a half hearted mid kick. Parker moves out of range as Neil strikes. Parker lands a right hook to the body.

Neil dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Parker. That did some damage! Neil has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Parker tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Neil scores with a kick to the body.
Parker takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Neil scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Neil tries to clinch up. Parker jabs Neil right on the nose. Neil blinks but takes it well. Neil changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Parker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Parker taking punishment in the form of punches.
Parker is rocked! Neil lands a decent elbow from side control. Oh Parker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Neil connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Parker some visible discomfort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neil tries to move to mount but Parker blocks the move with his legs. Neil lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Parker down.
Parker sneaks back into half guard. Parker makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Parker. Neil landing with the ground and pound. Neil postures up and lands a big shot to Parker's brow. Neil preventing the sweep. Neil lands a couple of elbows. Parker tries to land a sweep but no joy. Neil chips away with some ground and pound. Neil cracks Parker with a solid left hand. Neil throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Parker works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neil gets to his feet and stands over Parker, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Parker felt that one! Neil unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Parker from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Neil! As James Neil got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Just hit my music and let's go.'.
