Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wallace looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Flanders drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Flanders jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Flanders drops back for a leg! He'll be looking to tighten that up but Flanders can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wallace keeping full guard, as Flanders tries to pass. Wallace will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wallace not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wallace manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Wallace looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Flanders can do anything to dispel that myth. Wallace working for a guillotine from mount but Flanders is in no mood to give up. Flanders is in all sorts of trouble here.
Wallace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Flanders has his hands clasped together but Wallace breaks the hold and Flanders is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Wallace!
