Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chief Coyote (ranked 4915 p4p, 475 weight class) and Rami Ben Amor (ranked 6411 p4p, 559 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Coyote!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rami Ben Amor!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coyote is looking to clinch but Ben Amor is avoiding it.
Coyote takes one to the side of the head.
A lazy left from Ben Amor finds it's target.
Coyote misses with a looping left.
Coyote bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ben Amor's head.

Coyote closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ben Amor did well to prevent Coyote getting side control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Coyote lands a nice short elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coyote is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ben Amor sees it coming and defends easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Coyote working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Ben Amor is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Coyote scores with a couple of nice shots.

Coyote takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Coyote is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ben Amor is just riding it out for now. Coyote eventually gives up the hold.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Coyote thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ben Amor's head.
Coyote thows a huge punch but Ben Amor dodges it nicely.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ben Amor can do anything to dispel that myth.

Coyote slips a nice elbow through Ben Amor's hands, connecting with Ben Amor's forehead.
Coyote will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Coyote maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ben Amor could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Coyote has cracked it and Ben Amor is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Coyote!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Chief Coyote!
A relieved looking Chief Coyote thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
