Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Test tries to close the distance and clinch up but West swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Test gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and West counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
West shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Test eats them both and turns towards West to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Test with a poor takedown
and West counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Test stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Test wants it to stay on the feet.
Test tries a head kick but it misses.
Test tries to clinch but fails miserably
and West counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Test thinking.
Test on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Test tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. West smiles and moves away.
Wayde West has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fourth Test.
West closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

West's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Test leaves West with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

West drives through and clinches with Test against the cage.
Test manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Test tries to score a body lock takedown but West shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
West is looking to take this one to the mat.
Test tries to pull guard but West holds him up against the cage and eventually Test drops back down to his feet.

Test shoots in looking for a takedown. West tries to sprawl out of it but Test keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. West manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Test throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around West's waist but West gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Test off to one side.
West appears to be looking for a big counter.
West looks to land a combination but Test avoids it well.
West shoots in for a double leg but Test sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
West instigates a clinch.
West goes for a takedown in the clinch but Test prevents it.
Test stalling the fight.
Test stalling in the clinch but West improves position.

West pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Test wants to clinch up but West keeps it at a distance.
West darts in and clinches Test up against the cage.
Test jumps guard but West turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
West is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

After the fight, Wayde West was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
