Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lonnie Lee Badrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Badrick's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sidewinder. Lonnie Lee Badrick has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lonnie Lee Badrick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Abbot! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abbot tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Abbot throws a half hearted mid kick. Badrick doesn't manage to clinch there - Abbot circles away.
Badrick keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Abbot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Badrick is working to get back to half guard.
Abbot tries to control but Badrick wriggling away. Abbot putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Badrick manages to regain half guard. Good work. Badrick is staying active underneath Abbot, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Badrick regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbot trying to control but Badrick is working from the bottom. Badrick has his foot on Abbot's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Abbot works his way back into a safe position though. Abbot has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Badrick is proving hard to escape from. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Badrick is looking for a triangle but Abbot pushes his legs off easily.

Abbot trying to control but Badrick is working from the bottom. Abbot thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Abbot must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Badrick controls Abbot momentarily but Abbot frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Abbot avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Badrick is breathing heavily. Badrick has his foot on Abbot's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Abbot works his way back into a safe position though. Badrick looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Abbot wants to control from the top but Badrick keeps moving. Badrick will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Badrick is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Badrick keeping moving, preventing Abbot from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Badrick is looking for a triangle but Abbot pushes his legs off easily.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Abbot shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Abbot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Abbot moves into the clinch. Abbot has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Badrick avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Lonnie Lee Badrick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Abbot. Abbot has had enough of the clinch but Badrick keeps him there for the moment. Badrick with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Abbot is pushing Badrick up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Abbot takes an elbow to the temple.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Badrick throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Abbot blocks it with crossed arms. Badrick works on Abbot's body with a couple of short punches. Badrick tries to land knees in the clinch but Abbot avoids the damage to the body. Badrick with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Abbot is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Badrick gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Abbot content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Abbot closes this distance looking for a takedown but Badrick circles away. Badrick throws a nice head kick!
Abbot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lonnie Lee Badrick will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Abbot throws a head kick that misses and Badrick counters with a nice kick to the body. Abbot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Abbot with a lazy takedown attempt and Badrick counters with a nice uppercut. Badrick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Frank Abbot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Badrick throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Abbot. Abbot thows a leg kick but Badrick checks it and Badrick counters with a shoot takedown. Abbot fights it but they end up in guard. Badrick drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Badrick jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Badrick works a leg free and moves into half guard. Badrick is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Abbot is looking to escape. Badrick is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Abbot doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Badrick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Badrick is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Badrick is looking for submissions but instead, Abbot has regained full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Abbot kicks Badrick off and gets to his feet. Abbot looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Badrick! Badrick is looking to get to half guard. Abbot working Badrick over with strikes here. Abbot tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Badrick keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Badrick is squirming around, avoiding Abbot's attempts to control the action. Abbot looking to finish Badrick with some ground and pound. This is bad for Badrick!

Abbot lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Badrick sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Abbot trying to control from half guard but Badrick is working away. Badrick looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Abbot wants to pass the guard but Badrick is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Badrick manages to get to full guard.

Badrick thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Abbot trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Badrick is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Badrick throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Lonnie Lee Badrick dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Abbot has a takedown stuffed. Lonnie Lee Badrick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A punch combination from Badrick misses. Abbot shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Badrick as he jumps to the side. Badrick fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Abbot circles away from the clinch attempt.
Abbot on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Badrick. Badrick obviously looking to wear him down.
Badrick bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Abbot's head backwards. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A nice combination there by Badrick.
It looks like Frank Abbot has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbot walks into a straight right hand from Badrick. Badrick lands with a kick to the temple. Abbot shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Badrick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Abbot moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Badrick moves into the clinch. Badrick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Badrick darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Badrick works his way into side control. Lonnie Lee Badrick overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Abbot is trying to control Badrick's posture but Badrick avoids it. Badrick tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abbot wants to get back to his feet. Badrick tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Badrick has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Badrick tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Badrick throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abbot is trying to improve his position. Abbot manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Badrick is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Abbot! Badrick is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Abbot is surviving well by controlling Badrick's body position as best he can. Badrick has hold of Abbot's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Abbot manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Badrick blocks Abbot's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Badrick is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Abbot can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Badrick is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Abbot has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Abbot! Abbot avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Lonnie Lee Badrick showed his dominance in that final round. Well Badrick has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
