Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daisuke Marufuji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marufuji kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DJ Krush - No More (Kemuri Productions). Khan has chosen Mama said knock you out as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Charlie Khan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marufuji shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Marufuji tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marufuji has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Marufuji is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Khan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Marufuji wants the takedown. Khan is fighting it off but Marufuji persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Khan's guard against the cage.

Khan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Marufuji is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Khan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Marufuji's back instead.

Khan has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Marufuji has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Marufuji is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Khan frees his head nicely. Oh but Marufuji has switched to an armbar! Khan is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
