Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Achmed Khan (ranked 6524 p4p, 523 weight class) and Oliver Pickering (ranked 4789 p4p, 446 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pickering misses with a takedown attempt - Khan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Pickering is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Achmed Khan will probably get the nod.

Pickering shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Khan but Khan pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pickering takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Khan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pickering on the side of the head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Khan connects with a nice short shot to Pickering's temple.

Khan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Khan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Khan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Khan looks up at the clock and then as Pickering takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Khan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Oliver Pickering has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Pickering is looking to regain half guard here but Khan keeps moving and retains side control.

Well Khan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
