Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ko Ala Bear (ranked 6323 p4p, 697 weight class) and Sergey Voroshilov (ranked 8376 p4p, 776 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ko Ala Bear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sergey Voroshilov! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Voroshilov fails in his attempt to clinch. Voroshilov throws a lazy body kick and Bear makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Voroshilov stuffs the takedown. Bear could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Voroshilov tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Voroshilov instigates a clinch. Bear taking a breather. Voroshilov creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Bear jumps guard but Voroshilov turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Bear has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Voroshilov regains guard immediately. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bear throwing strikes but missing. Bear controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bear stays in close to Voroshilov's body and controls the position. Voroshilov working for submissions but it's allowed Bear to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bear controlling the pace. Voroshilov gets back to full guard.
Bear tries to free his leg and advance position but Voroshilov is retaining full guard. Bear controls from within his opponent's guard. Bear pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Voroshilov is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Voroshilov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bear slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Voroshilov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Sergey Voroshilov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Voroshilov throws a head kick that half lands.
Bear uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Voroshilov.
Sergey Voroshilov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bear tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Voroshilov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bear looks to land a combination. Voroshilov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Voroshilov shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Voroshilov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bear.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Voroshilov avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Voroshilov tries a head kick but it misses.
Bear shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Voroshilov pinned against the cage. Voroshilov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ko Ala Bear. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bear tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Voroshilov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Voroshilov throws a head kick that misses. Voroshilov swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bear counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Voroshilov connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Voroshilov takes the fight into the clinch. Bear tries to score a body lock takedown but Voroshilov shows good agility there to stay on his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Voroshilov misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sergey Voroshilov will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Voroshilov throws a sloppy head kick and Bear moves out of range easily. Bear is looking to counter with head kicks. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bear. Voroshilov only half commits to the counter leg kick. Bear shoots in but Voroshilov avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bear shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Voroshilov as he avoids it easily. Voroshilov tries a head kick but it misses.
Bear wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Bear steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Voroshilov. Voroshilov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Voroshilov throws a big counter head kick but Bear avoids it with no problem. Voroshilov goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Ko Ala Bear has been cut. Voroshilov lands a big head kick that sends Bear tumbling to the mat! Voroshilov takes a step backwards and waves Bear back to his feet - he wants the finish! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Voroshilov throws a lazy head kick and Bear counters with a three punch combo that has Voroshilov backing up. Voroshilov nods at Bear to acknowledge the strikes. Bear throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bear shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Voroshilov defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ko Ala Bear. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bear looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Bear is looking to clinch but Voroshilov is avoiding it.
Bear shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Voroshilov sprawls well. Voroshilov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bear gets slowly back to his feet. Voroshilov slaps away a takedown attempt from Bear, before circling back to the center of the mat. Sergey Voroshilov seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bear keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Voroshilov. Bear doesn't manage to clinch there - Voroshilov circles away.
Bear tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Voroshilov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Voroshilov swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Voroshilov tries to clinch but Bear moves out of range. Voroshilov throws a one two combo.
Voroshilov fails to land with a series of punches.
Bear appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Bear dives in for a single leg takedown but Voroshilov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Voroshilov connects with a solid leg kick. Voroshilov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bear tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Voroshilov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bear misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Look low, kick high! Voroshilov uses the oldest trick in the book to send Bear tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Voroshilov is absolutely delighted - when Bear wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
