Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Betadyne (ranked 4721 p4p, 459 weight class) and Dylan Peterson (ranked 6472 p4p, 555 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dylan Peterson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Betadyne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dylan Peterson! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Betadyne is defended easily by Peterson. Peterson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Peterson stops Betadyne from standing up. Peterson wants to control from the top but Betadyne keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Betadyne looking for a guillotine here but Peterson defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peterson scoring with punches to the head and body. Peterson pushes down on Betadyne's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson slips a nice elbow through Betadyne's hands, connecting with Betadyne's forehead. Peterson trying to control from half guard but Betadyne is working away. Peterson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Betadyne with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Peterson lands with a punch from half guard. Betadyne trying to hold on to Peterson's head to control him but Peterson postures up.
Betadyne is refusing to be controlled, as Peterson sits in half guard. Peterson is thwarting Betadyne's attempts to control the position. Betadyne taking some punishment here, with Peterson in his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Peterson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Peterson connects with a nice short shot to Betadyne's temple. Peterson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Betadyne doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Peterson. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Peterson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Betadyne is rocked! Peterson is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Betadyne is hurt! He's hurt bad - Peterson fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Betadyne from any more punishment! Congratulations to Peterson! Great finish!
