Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mahamad Aly (ranked 4812 p4p, 168 weight class) and Frik Van Wyk (ranked 7901 p4p, 229 weight class). Van Wyk has chosen Ska-Rumba as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Frik Van Wyk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mahamad Aly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frik Van Wyk! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aly pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Van Wyk changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Van Wyk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Van Wyk avoiding damage as Aly throws knees to the body.
Van Wyk pulls guard. Aly really is a fat lump. Van Wyk has control of Aly's left arm, preventing Aly from doing any damage. Aly preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Van Wyk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Aly's guard. Van Wyk advances position into side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aly tries to control but Van Wyk manages to take his back. Van Wyk loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Aly hold on?
Van Wyk trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Aly doesn't escape. Van Wyk is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Aly won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Van Wyk off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Frik Van Wyk! Frik Van Wyk decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
