4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Parks! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, John Mangel and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Parks.
It looks like Jake Woods has been cut. Parks lands a jab to Woods's midsection. Parks comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Parks. Woods does a little dance to reset his feet. Woods cracks a nice hook into Parks's ribs. Parks lands with a cross. Woods throws a big shot that misses. Woods throws a right and a left that Parks avoids nicely. Parks throws a counter combo. Parks jabs Woods to the body, keeping him at a distance. Parks tries to clinch up but Woods circles away and keeps his distance. Parks takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parks scores with a jab to the body. A slow jab from Parks misses its intended target. Woods swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Parks counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jake Woods seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parks misses with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Woods drops his hands momentarily and Parks takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Woods tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parks was well out of range. Poor timing from Woods. Woods moves out of range as Parks strikes. Parks uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Woods. We've been told by Woods's head coaches at Damage Inc. that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Woods throws a body punch but Parks moves out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Woods. Parks does a little dance to reset his feet. Woods misses with a looping left. and Parks counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Parks throws a combination. Woods tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Woods takes one to the chin there. Parks throws out a powerful jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Woods closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Woods throws a right hand that Parks ducks under and follows up with a left that Parks also avoids with ease. Nice body punch from Woods.

Parks tries to move into range but Woods moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Woods misses with a body shot.
Parks moves into range and clinches up with Woods. Parks leaning against his opponent.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Parks. Parks misses with the head strike.

Parks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Parks avoids the body shot from Woods.
Parks lands a head shot. Woods throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Parks to counter with a crisp jab. A jab lands there for Woods. Woods lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Parks at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woods keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Woods went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Woods comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Parks fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Woods looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Nice defenses there by Woods. Woods cracks Parks with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A shot to the body from Parks misses and Parks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Parks throws a shot to the body.

Parks scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Woods misses with a wild body shot. Nice defenses there by Woods. Parks looks to score with a jab to the body but Woods is just out of range. Woods will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Parks looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jake Woods will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Parks misses with a few strikes there.

Woods drops Parks with a straight right hand, right on the button! Woods follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Woods! Jake Woods tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
