Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mongolian Muslim (ranked 1377 p4p, 60 weight class) and Jason Imbert (ranked 2606 p4p, 106 weight class). Muslim comes to the cage accompanied by Modern Mongolian Music - Sandy Desert. Imbert comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Welcome to the jungle-by GUNS N ROSES kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mongolian Muslim is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mongolian Muslim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Imbert! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Imbert circles away from the clinch attempt.
Imbert throws out a counter right but Muslim avoids it with no problem. Imbert throws a hook to the side of Muslim's head but Muslim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Muslim with a nice cross.
It looks like Jason Imbert has been cut. Imbert misses with an uppercut. Mongolian Muslim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Imbert looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Imbert throws a big shot that misses. Imbert gets tackled into the cage by Muslim. Muslim maintains the clinch. Muslim tries to pull guard but Imbert won't allow it.
Muslim wants a takedown.
Muslim jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Imbert walks away with a smile on his face. Muslim gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mongolian Muslim. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed right hand from Imbert misses the target. Imbert throws an off balance right hand
and Muslim counters with a stiff right hand. Muslim throws a lazy uppercut
letting Imbert counter with a right hand. Imbert throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Imbert has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Imbert throws a jab but it's blocked by Muslim. Muslim missing with a left hand there. Imbert was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Imbert misses with a looping left. Imbert lands with a good body shot. Imbert gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Muslim is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Imbert gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Imbert fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Muslim lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
That has opened up Jason Imbert's cut even more. Imbert lands a left hand that snaps the head of Muslim backwards. Muslim blocking some punches.
Muslim is trying to pull guard but Imbert turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Muslim keeps control of Imbert as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Imbert misses with a hook from the clinch. Imbert is trying to break the clinch but Muslim is controlling him. Imbert throws a punch but it's blocked by Muslim. Muslim jumps guard.
Muslim bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Imbert's guard. Imbert wants to improve his position but instead Muslim has moved into half guard.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! This has been an exciting period of action! Muslim seems to be looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Imbert is trying to control but can't.
Imbert tries to kick Muslim off but Muslim keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Muslim trying to mount his opponent but Imbert defends it. Muslim sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Imbert defending well though. Imbert is trying to maintain the position but Muslim is very close to passing his half guard. Muslim not landing any meaningful shots this time. Imbert won't allow Muslim to pass to mount. Muslim wants to work for an arm triangle but Imbert is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Muslim stops Imbert from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Muslim looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Muslim prevents Imbert from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muslim is looking for a kimura but Imbert is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Muslim to get the leverage. Imbert is looking to control Muslim's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Imbert avoid being mounted? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Imbert keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Muslim has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Muslim is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Muslim is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Imbert is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Muslim is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Muslim is pressing down on Imbert's thigh, looking to free his foot. Imbert is holding on for now. Imbert is concentrating on defense, preventing Muslim from advancing position. Muslim is looking to stall here but Imbert recovers full guard. Muslim won't allow Imbert to sweep him here. Muslim prevents Imbert from getting back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mongolian Muslim will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jason Imbert's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Imbert tries to clinch up. Muslim feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Imbert sprawling to the canvas! Imbert rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Muslim finish him?!
Imbert waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Muslim. Muslim ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Muslim misses with a hook to the body
and Muslim takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Imbert blocks a jab. Imbert might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Muslim keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Muslim has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Muslim is trying to pull guard but Imbert turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Muslim tries to pull guard but Imbert forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Muslim is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Muslim makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Muslim tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Imbert just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mongolian Muslim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Muslim blocks an uppercut.
Muslim ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Muslim no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Muslim working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Imbert doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Imbert manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Muslim is looking for a triangle but Imbert pushes his legs off easily.
Muslim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Imbert stands up and waves to Muslim to follow him. Muslim takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Imbert throws a hook but Muslim blocks it. Imbert takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Muslim displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Imbert throws out the jab. A counter left hand to the body from Muslim misses its target. Imbert connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Muslim's hands. Muslim misses with an uppercut. Muslim ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Muslim is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Imbert lands a nice looking body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Imbert throws a big shot that misses. Imbert needs to keep his hands up - Muslim had a free shot at his head there.
The cut above Jason Imbert's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Muslim thuds a left hand into Imbert's body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Imbert stuffs the takedown attempt from Muslim. Muslim gets slowly back to his feet. Nice defenses there by Muslim. Muslim slips under a jab from Imbert. A slow jab from Imbert misses its intended target. Muslim takes a swing at Imbert's ribcage but misses. Muslim scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Mongolian Muslim is winning the standup battle so far. Imbert avoids the body shot from Muslim.
Muslim drops Imbert with a big left hand! Imbert is injured, injured bad! Muslim jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

A victorious Mongolian Muslim thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter. The defeated Jason Imbert had this to say: 'That guy had a boner the whole fight...it threw me off my game I'll be back.'.
