The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthew scores with a leg kick.
Beaux shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Matthew counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Brady Beaux has been cut.
Beaux wants to clinch.
Beaux's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Matthew connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Beaux scrambles back to his feet.
Beaux misses with a takedown
and Matthew counters with a stiff right hand.
Matthew lands a nice shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beaux takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Beaux is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

That has opened up Brady Beaux's cut even more.
Matthew has taken the fight to the clinch.
Beaux has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Matthew avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Matthew is pressed up against the cage. Beaux has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Matthew down to the mat. Matthew avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Beaux looks winded!
Matthew has managed to clinch.
Matthew lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Beaux backwards.
Matthew pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Beaux takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Matthew scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Matthew feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Beaux sprawling to the canvas! Beaux rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Matthew finish him?!
Beaux is rocked!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Horrible takedown attempt by Beaux or perhaps it was just good defense by Matthew, which made it look bad.
Beaux is still on wobbly legs! Can Matthew finish him?
Matthew circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Beaux to the canvas! Beaux doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Matthew keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
