The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Granger throws a right and a left that Clarke avoids nicely.
Clarke looks to land a combination but Granger avoids it well.
Granger misses with a body shot.
George Granger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Granger throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Granger drives through and clinches with Clarke against the cage.

Clarke tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Clarke jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Granger walks away with a smile on his face. Clarke gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Clarke slips a jab and a cross from Granger.
Clarke is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Granger moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Granger!
