Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Wilson (ranked 1845 p4p, 222 weight class) and Teodors Ozolinsh (ranked 1392 p4p, 166 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wilson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Simple Math - By: DL Incognito. Teodors Ozolinsh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Solomon Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teodors Ozolinsh! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson connects with a right hand. Ozolinsh shakes it off. Ozolinsh ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Wilson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ozolinsh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wilson somewhat. Wilson lands a nice looking body shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Wilson. That's going to slow Ozolinsh down. Wilson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Solomon Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wilson shoots and misses and Ozolinsh counters with a slapping leg kick. Nice defenses there by Ozolinsh. Ozolinsh now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Wilson swings widly with a right hand
and Ozolinsh counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson looks to throw the jab but Ozolinsh is out of range. Ozolinsh feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wilsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Wilson misses with a straight left. Ozolinsh looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Wilson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Excellent takedown into side control there by Wilson. Ozolinsh regains half guard, as Wilson was trying to land strikes. Ozolinsh gets full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilson won't allow Ozolinsh to sweep him here. Wilson lands a couple of decent looking shots. Wilson works over Ozolinsh with some ground and pound from guard. Wilson postures up in Ozolinsh's guard and throws a big left but Ozolinsh blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ozolinsh is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wilson trying to control here.

Wilson is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at ELITE Island Gym - All Elite Coaches ($800/Week), so we'll see if he gets out of it. Ozolinsh stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wilson trying to hold on to Ozolinsh's head to control him but Ozolinsh postures up.

Wilson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ozolinsh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ozolinsh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wilson working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Ozolinsh has passed into half guard!
Ozolinsh wants to free his trapped foot but Wilson is holding on for dear life with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Solomon Wilson will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wilson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wilson is rocked! Ozolinsh misses with a body kick. Oh Wilson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ozolinsh drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Wilson's head, knocking him out cold! Ozolinsh is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
