The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Francis DeMontford and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hensley is trying to defend but Freeman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hensley wants to control but Freeman is keeping busy.
Hensley tries to get to full guard but Freeman has control of the leg.
Freeman trying to control the action but Hensley is working from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Freeman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Freeman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Freeman stands and throws Hensley's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Hensley wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Freeman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Freeman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hensley is not content to let Freeman control the position.

Freeman wants to control but Hensley is keeping him busy.

Freeman has hold of Hensley's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hensley seems comfortable defending it but Freeman has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hensley is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hensley is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Freeman couldn't care less - he's delighted!
