Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bea Mason (ranked 2451 p4p, 347 weight class) and Pacer Dalton (ranked 2163 p4p, 323 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bea Mason! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pacer Dalton! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mason moves into range and clinches up with Dalton. Dalton tightens his grip and picks Mason up, before dumping him to the ground. Mason manages to land in guard. Dalton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Dalton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dalton controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dalton advances to half guard. Mason trying to control from the bottom.
Dalton controlling the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dalton trying to mount his opponent but Mason defends it. Dalton looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Mason is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason wants to get back to full guard. Dalton with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Dalton is thwarting Mason's attempts to control the position. Mason is looking to escape. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Dalton content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mason gets caught flat footed, as Dalton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dalton controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Dalton looking to pass the guard. Mason throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Dalton postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mason looking for a sweep. Not yet Mason, not yet. Mason looking to control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mason manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dalton manages to get himself to full guard.
Dalton seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dalton's guard. Mason gets to his feet - Dalton follows without any prompting. Dalton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. We've been informed that Dalton has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Dalton is thwarting Mason's attempts to control the position. Mason tries to get to full guard but Dalton has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dalton controlling the action here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Let's hope that Dalton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pacer Dalton dominated that round. That's time! Mason's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Mason shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dalton pinned against the cage. Dalton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've been told by Mason's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Dalton fails with the takedown. Pacer Dalton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mason shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dalton defends it nicely. Dalton looking to score a takedown here. Mason is defending well but Dalton drives through and ends up in Mason's guard. Dalton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dalton is pushing down on Mason's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mason is fighting to maintain full guard but Dalton has managed to sneak the leg through. Dalton has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Dalton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mason. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason gets back to half guard. Dalton not doing much here.
Mason is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Dalton is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Mason won't allow Dalton to pass to mount. Mason is trying to get back to full guard. Mason is trying to stand up here but Dalton is controlling him well. Dalton controlling the action here. Dalton is continuing to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Dalton. Mason gets full guard. Dalton slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Yet more stalling tactics from Dalton.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Mason gets caught napping as Dalton dives in and scores a takedown. Mason manages to retain guard. Dalton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mason has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dalton has managed to get both his arms back between Mason's legs - danger averted. Mason can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dalton controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dalton postures up.
Dalton looking to pass the guard. Mason tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dalton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dalton controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Dalton swats away the attempt to clinch by Mason. Dalton with the counter takedown but Mason avoids it easily. Dalton leaves Mason with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bea Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mason forces Dalton back against the cage and clinches. Dalton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mason pulls his leg out and moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pacer Dalton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dalton. Dalton stuffs the takedown. Dalton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Dalton tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mason knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dalton in particular looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason trying to hold on to Dalton's head to control him but Dalton postures up.
Dalton is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason tries to get to full guard but Dalton has control of the leg. Dalton wants to pass the guard but Mason is defending well. Mason is in trouble now - Dalton has advanced to mount! Dalton content just to control the position here. Dalton avoids the attempt from Mason to control. Dalton controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The adventures of Dalton the control monster continue. Boring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dalton landing strikes from the mount. Dalton wants to take Mason's back but he can't do it this time. Dalton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dalton moves to take his opponent's back. Dalton has good solid back control here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dalton gets his hands free as Mason looks to control. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Mason tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Dalton sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bea Mason has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Pacer Dalton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Dalton winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Pacer Dalton! A relieved looking Pacer Dalton thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
