Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zach Degrom (ranked 5434 p4p, 218 weight class) and Chuck Van Damme (ranked 8208 p4p, 287 weight class). The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Van Damme.
Van Damme misses with a head kick.
Van Damme closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Van Damme throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Degrom jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Van Damme misses with a right hand
and Degrom connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Van Damme misses the body punch
and Degrom counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Chuck Van Damme has been cut.
Van Damme misses with an uppercut
and Degrom counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Van Damme is rocked!
Degrom lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Van Damme falls backwards - clearly groggy! Degrom dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
