Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonathan Alspaugh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franklin Felber! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Felber lands with an uppercut that bounces Alspaugh off the cage and back into range. Felber throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Felber scores with a hook. Felber fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Franklin Felber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch lands to the side of Alspaugh 's head but he takes it in his stride. Felber lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Alspaugh is rocked! Alspaugh drops his hands momentarily and Felber takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Oh Alspaugh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Felber lands with a cross. Felber sizes up Alspaugh with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice jab there from Felber. Felber throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sloppy strikes from Alspaugh. Those never looked like landing. Felber stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Felber slips a jab and a cross from Alspaugh.
Felber has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Felber jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Felber scores with a jab. Felber cracks Alspaugh on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Alspaugh falls backwards against the cage. Felber follows up with more strikes that drop Alspaugh to his knees. Felber keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Alspaugh! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Franklin Felber!
