Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Futoshi Matsunaga (ranked 2656 p4p, 123 weight class) and Kosma Wawelski (ranked 3294 p4p, 151 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Futoshi Matsunaga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kosma Wawelski! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wawelski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Matsunaga circles away quickly and effectively. A big right from Matsunaga misses. Matsunaga cracks Wawelski with an open hand slap. Matsunaga dodges the punch combination from Wawelski.
Matsunaga looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Matsunaga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Matsunaga wants it to stay on the feet. Wawelski misses with a kick to the body.
Matsunaga is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Matsunaga looks to land a combination. Wawelski sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Matsunaga takes a swing at Wawelski's ribcage but misses. Matsunaga on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Matsunaga dodges the punch combination from Wawelski.
A little feinted left hand from Matsunaga on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Sloppy strikes from Matsunaga. Those never looked like landing. Wawelski is looking for the big counter here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters circling - Matsunaga throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A solid body kick from Matsunaga. Wawelski takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Wawelski takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wawelski fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wawelski goes for a double leg but Matsunaga avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Matsunaga continues to drive forward. As Wawelski looks to move away, Matsunaga throws a big counter combo but Wawelski just gets out of the way. Wawelski throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Matsunaga's head. Wawelski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Wawelski takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wawelski lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Matsunaga looks to land a left hand but Wawelski moved out of range nicely. Matsunaga stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Wawelski is rocked! Matsunaga closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Wawelski out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Futoshi Matsunaga! Futoshi Matsunaga seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
