Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jair Malachi (ranked 5383 p4p, 431 weight class) and Stipe Miocic (ranked 4641 p4p, 381 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Malachi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Miocic.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Miocic might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Malachi has got the better of the exchanges.

Malachi is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Miocic looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Malachi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Miocic scores with a big shot! Malachi's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Malachi! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

After winning the bout, Stipe Miocic thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
