Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonor Jasrai (ranked 2995 p4p, 264 weight class) and Matt Jordan (ranked 2716 p4p, 246 weight class). Jasrai comes into the arena with Khusugtun Batzorig - Chinggis Khaan blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sonor Jasrai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Jordan! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jasrai fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jasrai shoots in looking for a takedown. Jordan tries to sprawl out of it but Jasrai keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jordan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice uppercut lands for Jordan. That snapped Jasrai's head back.
Good standup being displayed there by Jordan as he connects with a hook. Jordan looks to land a left hand but Jasrai moved out of range nicely. Jordan throws a hook but Jasrai blocks it. Jasrai fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sonor Jasrai. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jordan misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jordan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jasrai or perhaps it was just good defense by Jordan, which made it look bad. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jordan!
Jasrai dives in for a single leg takedown but Jordan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jordan let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jasrai shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jordan but Jordan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jasrai. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jasrai is defended easily by Jordan. Jasrai decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jasrai is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jordan sees it coming and defends easily. Jasrai prevents Jordan from improving his position. Jasrai seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jordan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Jordan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jasrai is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jordan is just riding it out for now. Jasrai eventually gives up the hold.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jordan is looking for a sweep. Jasrai is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jasrai is keen to just control but Jordan is a slippery customer. Jasrai is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jordan! Jasrai jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jordan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jordan and Jasrai has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

This could be all over! Wait, no, Jordan rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jasrai's guard! Nice work there by Jordan! Jasrai is trying to keep Jordan in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jasrai is looking to advance position but Jordan has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Jordan is landing with some decent strikes but Jasrai is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Jasrai tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jordan avoids the attempt from Jasrai to control. Jasrai slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Jasrai is trying to maintain the position but Jordan is very close to passing his half guard. Still in half guard, Jordan seems content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Jordan dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jasrai shoots in for a double leg but Jordan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jasrai drives through with a takedown into guard. Jasrai passes Jordan's left leg - he's now in half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jordan can do anything to dispel that myth. Jordan moves into full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jasrai is working for a kimura but Jordan is defending it quite comfortably.

Jasrai wants to free his trapped foot but Jordan is holding on for dear life with his legs. Jasrai trying to control the action but Jordan is working from the bottom. Jasrai is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sonor Jasrai overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jasrai is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jordan is just riding it out for now. Jasrai eventually gives up the hold. Jordan manages to get to full guard.

Jasrai pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jordan is keeping the position for now. Jordan keeping moving, preventing Jasrai from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jasrai drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jordan dives on top into guard. Jasrai looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jordan is one step ahead there. Jordan's corner is telling him to maintain position. Jasrai trying to keep a closed guard but Jordan is proving a slippery customer.
Jasrai had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jordan defends it easily. Jasrai seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Jasrai is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jasrai is on top in guard.
Jordan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jordan trying to control from Jasrai's half guard. Jasrai has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Jasrai looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jordan is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jordan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jasrai circles away quickly and effectively. Jordan loads up on a big right hand but Jasrai slips the punch. Jasrai uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jordan. Jasrai shoots and misses and Jordan counters with a one-two to the body. Jordan digs a good hook to Jasrai's body.
Sonor Jasrai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jordan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jasrai's hands. No luck for Jasrai with that takedown attempt. This has been an exciting period of action! Jasrai walks into a straight right hand from Jordan. Jasrai closes the distance and clinches up with Jordan, looking for a takedown. Jasrai pushes Jordan against the cage but Jordan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jordan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Sonor Jasrai has been cut. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jasrai will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jasrai's head. Jordan jabs Jasrai to the body, keeping him at a distance. Jordan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jasrai on the side of the head. Jordan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A solid leg kick lands there for Jordan.
Jasrai shoots in but no luck this time. Jasrai with a lazy takedown attempt and Jordan counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jordan dips down and scores with a jab to the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jasrai. A solid body kick from Jordan. A jab from Jordan does it's job there. This has been an exciting period of action! Jasrai takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jordan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jasrai. Jordan thuds his shin into the meat of Jasrai's side. Jordan scores with a nice right hand.
Jasrai is rocked! Jasrai looks up at the clock. Bad move! Jordan lands a right hand from hell, dropping Jasrai. Jordan pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
