Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Steve (ranked 92 p4p, 18 weight class) and Scott Murley (ranked 307 p4p, 42 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Steve might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Its a fine day to whoop somebodies ass. Murley has chosen Rage Against The Machine | Bulls On Parade as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scott Murley!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve throws a body punch but Murley moves out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Steve 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Steve throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Murley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Steve has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Men Only. No Liberals ! in the buildup to the fight.
Steve misses the shot to the body.

Steve clinches with his opponent.
Steve lands a left hand.

Murley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A punch combination from Steve misses.
Murley walks into a stiff left hand from Steve.
Murley on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Steve swings and misses with a hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jab, jab by Murley - just one landing.

and Steve makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Murley lands a nice shot that snaps Steve's head back.
Steve rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Murley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Steve drives through and clinches with Murley against the cage.
Murley tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Murley has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Murley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oh Steve is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Murley is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Steve had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Steve is looking to wear down Murley with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Murley will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Steve seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Steve cracks Murley with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Murley looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Steve finish him?

Murley seems to have recovered his senses.
Murley takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Steve feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Murley sprawling to the canvas! Murley rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Steve finish him?!
Steve is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Murley can do to turn this around?
Steve cracks Murley with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mark Steve!

Mark Steve very nearly forgot to thank Zenith Nutrition (160q/$200) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
