Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Blowfish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Blowfish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blowfish looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Blowfish trying to control the position from guard on top but Rua is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Blowfish in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Blowfish postures up.
Blowfish must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Blowfish slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rua not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rua is really struggling to control Blowfish but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blowfish throwing strikes from guard but Rua blocks nicely.
Rua pulls Blowfish in close to prevent any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A nice combination there by Rua.
Rua fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rua ducks straight into an uppercut from Blowfish and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Rua maanges to regain guard straight away.

Rua is rocked!

It looks like Shogun Rua has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Blowfish postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Rua's head off the mat! Rua is out! He's out! Blowfish jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
