Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, TB Twelve ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Kerr! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Twelve shoots in looking for a takedown but Kerr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Twelve 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kerr lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Twelve slips under a jab from Kerr. Kerr should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kerr finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kerr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kerr shoots in and gets a takedown into Twelve 's guard. Kerr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kerr wants to control from the top but Twelve keeps moving. Kerr throwing strikes from guard but Twelve blocks nicely. Twelve striking off his back but it's not causing Kerr any problems. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kerr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Twelve looking for a guillotine here but Kerr defends easily.
Twelve wants to stand up but Kerr is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Twelve looking for a sweep. Not yet Twelve , not yet. Kerr postures up in Twelve 's guard and throws a big left but Twelve blocks it. Kerr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kerr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Twelve works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kerr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Twelve . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Twelve pulls Kerr in close to his closed guard and prevents Kerr from doing any damage or advancing position. Kerr throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Twelve closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like TB Twelve has been cut. Kerr is trying hard to land a takedown here. Twelve sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Twelve wants to clinch up but Kerr keeps it at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kerr misses with the combination.

Kerr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kerr lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Twelve falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
