Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Rasputin (ranked 4184 p4p, 162 weight class) and Jamal Fury (ranked 7323 p4p, 224 weight class). Rasputin comes to the cage accompanied by Indestructible-Colossus Tribute. Fury has chosen Oneohtrix Point Never - The Station as his entrance music. Jamal Fury acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Rasputin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamal Fury!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Fury with that takedown attempt.
Fury closes the distance and clinches up with Rasputin, looking for a takedown. Fury pushes Rasputin against the cage but Rasputin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rasputin stuffs the takedown attempt from Fury. Fury gets slowly back to his feet.
A quick step to the side and Rasputin tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Peter Rasputin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamal Fury.

Fury shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Fury stands and throws Rasputin's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Fury is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rasputin has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rasputin can't do much from the bottom here.

Fury should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rasputin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rasputin tries to get out of the position.

Fury working for a submission but Rasputin is keeping him at bay.
Rasputin tries to hold on but Fury pushes him away.

Rasputin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Fury looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Fury has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rasputin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Rasputin has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Rasputin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rasputin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fury is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fury has escaped and now he's on top!

Fury slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Fury has eaten all the pies!
Fury is trying to control. Rasputin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Fury moves into full mount! Rasputin won't be happy about that!

Rasputin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Fury.

Fury looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Rasputin is trying to escape the mount.

Fury looking to secure an arm triangle but Rasputin defends it well.
Rasputin is looking to get to half guard.
Fury fails to move to back control.
Fury prevents Rasputin from getting the reversal.
Fury can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rasputin is looking to escape.
Fury forces the positional change into back control.
Fury is trying to stick to Rasputin's back but Rasputin is turning into Fury. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Fury's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rasputin.
Rasputin trying to control but Fury is working from the bottom.
Rasputin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fury is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jamal Fury dominated that round.
That's time! Rasputin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Fury on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rasputin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fury manages to avoid it.
Fury takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fury.
Rasputin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fury.
Fury changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rasputin tries to avoid it but Fury manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rasputin to the ground. Rasputin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Peter Rasputin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamal Fury.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fury is defended easily by Rasputin.
Good exchange - Rasputin coming out on top.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rasputin stalks Fury and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fury's face. Fury staggers backwards, shaken.
Rasputin scores with a jab. Fury acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rasputin misses with a straight left.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fury staying out of range there.
Fury fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rasputin clobbers Fury with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rasputin with a jab.
Fury throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rasputin's waist but Rasputin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fury off to one side.
Rasputin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.


Fury is rocked!
Rasputin ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Fury out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Rasputin!
A relieved looking Peter Rasputin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
