Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Brown (ranked 2204 p4p, 238 weight class) and Royal Pain (ranked 2249 p4p, 243 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by VENGEANCE . Pain has chosen AC/DC Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Royal Pain has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with John Brown's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 27 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, John Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Royal Pain! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pain momentarily.
Pain jabbing away but nothing is landing. Pain is looking to land body kicks. Pain fails with a takedown attempt. Brown was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Brown fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pain on the side of the head. Pain missing with a left hand there. Brown was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Brown on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like John Brown has been cut. Brown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Pain lands with an overhand left. Brown throws a half hearted mid kick. A shot to the body from Pain misses enabling Brown to counter with a crisp jab. Brown slips under a jab from Pain. Brown looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Pain with a lazy takedown attempt and Brown connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pain wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance. Brown misses with a low kick. Pain tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pain shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pain was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brown is trying to control Pain's posture but Pain avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pain goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Brown has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pain but great work by Brown. Pain tries to buck Brown off but Brown is having none of it. Pain striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Pain looks to move to half guard but instead Brown has passed into mount! Damn! Pain is looking to improve his position but Brown isn't that keen on the idea. Brown controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown avoids the attempt from Pain to control. Brown takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Pain tries to get back to half guard but can't. Brown controlling his opponent. Pain can't escape the position.
Pain sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Pain wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pain slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Pain is trying to keep Brown in close.
Pain working for submissions but it's allowed Brown to get to half guard.
Pain trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Pain is wriggling around trying to escape.
Brown controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pain tries to improve his position but instead Brown has taken his back! Pain is really stuck here.
Brown is riding his opponent, not letting Pain buck him off. Pain tries to roll but Brown sticks to his back.
Brown has good solid back control here. Pain is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Brown controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Brown dominated that round. The cut man is working on John Brown's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pain tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nice uppercut there from Pain. Pain tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Brown defends well and Pain ends up having to push Brown into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Pain looks to land a body kick but Brown moved away. A left lands for Brown. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Brown, right into the meat.
Brown pivots, looking for a leg kick but Pain is out of range and Brown settles back down. Pain blocks a head kick by Brown.
Brown tries to sprawl but Pain drives through with a takedown into half guard. Pain is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pain is trying to control. Brown wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Brown is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pain can do to turn this around? Pain trying to control from Brown's half guard. Brown has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Pain drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brown manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pain has Brown in his guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain is looking to sweep but instead, Brown has passed into half guard.
Pain tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg. Brown with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Brown wants to free his trapped foot but Pain is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pain tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Brown has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Pain is looking to improve his position but Brown isn't that keen on the idea. Pain looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pain is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Brown.
Pain is really stuck here.
Brown really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Pain. Pain rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Pain has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brown is working away from the top position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Pain scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Brown manages to mount him!
Pain is trying to escape the mount.
Brown tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Pain really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pain is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Brown has taken his back.
Pain is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

John Brown dominated that second round. The cut man is working on John Brown's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Brown scores with a hook. Brown misses with a wild body shot. Brown tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Brown takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Pain looks to land a left hand but Brown moved out of range nicely. Brown takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Brown misses with a head kick.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from Pain. Pain uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brown has time to react.
Brown is rocked! Pain throws an overhand right that drops Brown like a sack of potatoes! Pain dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
