Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Eikmeyer (ranked 2223 p4p, 213 weight class) and Mario Huber (ranked 4054 p4p, 342 weight class). Huber comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enter Sandman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mario Eikmeyer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

28 - 46 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Huber! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eikmeyer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Huber on his heels. He'll look to pass Huber's guard now, I'm sure. Huber escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Eikmeyer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Eikmeyer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Eikmeyer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Huber has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Eikmeyer has managed to get both his arms back between Huber's legs - danger averted. Huber is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Eikmeyer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Huber is keeping the position for now. Eikmeyer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Huber is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Eikmeyer is aware though and is defending well. Eikmeyer is working Huber over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Huber is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Eikmeyer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Eikmeyer lands a couple of elbows. Eikmeyer postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Huber is rocked! Eikmeyer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Huber is still in real trouble! Can Eikmeyer finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Eikmeyer lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Eikmeyer gets to his feet and stands over Huber, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Huber felt that one! Eikmeyer unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Huber from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mario Eikmeyer! Mario Eikmeyer spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
