Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anselm Wilks (ranked 4964 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Jahn (ranked 24086 p4p, 0 weight class). Ron Jahn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anselm Wilks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ron Jahn! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jahn walks into a stiff left hand from Wilks. Wilks misses with a combination
and Jahn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wilks won't be happy with that. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Wilks is looking for a sweep. Wilks on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wilks tries to get out of the position. Wilks holds on to Jahn's head and controls the position momentarily. Wilks is trying to improve his position. Wilks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jahn on the ground. Wilks looks to move to half guard but instead Jahn has passed into mount! Damn! Wilks holds on to Jahn around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jahn wants to take Wilks's back here but Wilks is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Wilks is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jahn landing punches. Wilks wants to control but Jahn is having none of it. Jahn wants to control the pace but Wilks is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilks holds of for dear life. Wilks tries to hold on but Jahn pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilks is looking to improve his position but Jahn isn't that keen on the idea. Wilks tries to hold on but Jahn pushes him away. Jahn lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Wilks hang on? Wilks holds of for dear life. Jahn prevents Wilks from getting the reversal. Wilks manages to control the position for a moment. Wilks is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilks tries to hold on but Jahn postures up. Jahn manages to capitalize on a mistake by Wilks to take his back! A lull in the action here.

Jahn is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Wilks has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Wilks just trying to survive but Jahn is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here.

Jahn gets his hands free as Wilks looks to control. Wilks rolls, trying to escape but Jahn keeps control of the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wilks prevents Jahn from getting a body triangle. Oooh a big shot gets through from Jahn. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ron Jahn dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wilks leaves Jahn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Wilks connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Wilks drives through and clinches with Jahn against the cage.
Wilks lands a right hand. A right hand to the body from Wilks.
Wilks presses Jahn against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Wilks lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jahn backwards. Jahn's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Wilks lands a shoulder strike. Wilks lands with a left to the head. Jahn jumps guard but Wilks turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jahn has Wilks pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wilks manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Anselm Wilks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Jahn. Wilks pushes Jahn back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Jahn is breathing heavily. Wilks lands a shoulder strike. Wilks lands a right hand. Wilks lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jahn backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilks prevents Jahn from breaking the clinch. Wilks lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jahn backwards. Wilks lands a left hand.

Jahn is rocked! Wilks lands a hook to the side of the head. Jahn is still on wobbly legs! Can Wilks finish him? Jahn wants to get back to striking at distance but Wilks won't allow it.
Wilks lands a body punch in the clinch. Wilks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. BOOM! Wilks lands a beautiful left hook that drops Jahn. Jahn tries to recover but Wilks is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Jahn lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
