Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Centino (ranked 2839 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coach Jameson (ranked 20374 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur Centino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Coach Jameson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Centino changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jameson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jameson seems a little lost for a moment, as Centino dominates the positioning.

You can see the frustration on Jameson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jameson tries to bench press Centino off him but Centino keeps the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Centino decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jameson to his feet.

Centino darts in and clinches Jameson up against the cage.
Centino lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Jameson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Centino throws a sloppy head kick and Jameson moves out of range easily.

Jameson gets caught flat footed, as Centino shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jameson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.


Jameson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Centino has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jameson has managed to get both his arms back between Centino's legs - danger averted.

Centino definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Centino wants to sweep but no luck.
Centino utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Centino shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jameson as he avoids it easily.

Centino has Jameson up against the cage in a clinch.
Centino tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Centino jumps guard but Jameson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Centino. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Centino gets control of Jameson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Centino will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Centino is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jameson is aware though and is defending well.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Centino manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jameson on his heels. He'll look to pass Jameson's guard now, I'm sure.

Jameson throws a right hand that Centino ducks under and follows up with a left that Centino also avoids with ease.

Jameson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Centino but Centino pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Centino throws a series of punches but Jameson avoids them all with ease.
Jameson shoots in looking for a takedown but Centino manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jameson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Centino fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Centino shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jameson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Horrible takedown attempt by Jameson or perhaps it was just good defense by Centino, which made it look bad.
