Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Henri Marshall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Kline!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marshall scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
You can see the frustration on Kline's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Marshall working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Kline tries to improve position but can't.
Marshall is looking to take a break and control but Kline is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kline regains half guard.
Kline is trying to control but can't.
Marshall is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Marshall perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kline is not content to let Marshall control the position.
Marshall not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Kline wants to control but Marshall is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Kline is pressing down on Marshall's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kline escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marshall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Marshall has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Marshall throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Marshall wants to pass the guard but Kline is keeping the position.
Marshall with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kline is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Marshall tries to free his leg and advance position but Kline is retaining full guard.

Kline has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Marshall doesn't defend quickly enough and Kline has managed to lock this one up! Can Marshall escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kline on a fantastic submission victory.
