Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herschel Clarke (ranked 25258 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Dursty (ranked 4783 p4p, 605 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dursty pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Clarke back to the cage. Dursty follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Herschel Clarke has been cut.

Clarke could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dursty loads up on a big left hand. Clarke felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Dursty looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Clarke can't hide his disappointment, as Dursty celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fred Dursty!
After the fight, Fred Dursty was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
