The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melodia instigates a clinch.
Melodia has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. loco is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
loco tries to break the clinch but Melodia is controlling the position.
Melodia is trying to drag loco to the mat but loco just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Melodia keeps control of loco as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Melodia has loco pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Melodia pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending loco tumbling to the mat - Melodia dives into loco's guard.
