Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Horiaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshida Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Horiaki kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Darude - Sand Storm. Yoshida Gomi acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshida Gomi!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gomi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Horiaki drops back looking for a leg! Gomi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gomi manages to kick Horiaki off! Horiaki jumps back into Gomi's guard.
Horiaki tries to free his leg and advance position but Gomi is retaining full guard.
Horiaki passes Gomi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Horiaki content to control rather than advance.
Horiaki is working for a submission of some sort.
Horiaki is trying to control the action in half guard but Gomi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gomi looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Horiaki is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Horiaki works his way into full mount!
Horiaki with a couple of short strikes.
Gomi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Horiaki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Horiaki is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Horiaki extends the arm and Gomi is forced to tap!
