Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Archie Moore (ranked 415 p4p, 60 weight class) and Michael Cole (ranked 219 p4p, 35 weight class). Cole has chosen I Won't Back Down as his entrance music. Michael Cole acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Archie Moore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Cole! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore fails in his attempt to clinch. It seemed like Cole was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Moore on the wrong end of a nice hook. Cole has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Moore is landing a low percentage of strikes. Cole misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. The fighters circling - Cole throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Moore throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Cole counters with a takedown into side control. Cole working the ground and pound but Moore is defending the strikes. Moore tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cole misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Cole throws a strike aimed at the side of Moore's head but Moore avoids it well. Cole throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Cole is looking to take a break and control but Moore is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cole throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Moore avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Cole. Cole misses with the ground and pound. Cole wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moore keeps working. An elbow from Cole crashes against the mat.
Cole tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cole taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cole in side control, throwing shots but Moore defends. Cole misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Cole postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Cole working the ground and pound but Moore is defending the strikes. Cole is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Moore knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Cole misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole lands with a good body shot. Cole slips under a jab from Moore. Moore tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Moore misses with a straight left. Moore looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cole moves out of range of the strikes. Cole lands a body shot.
Moore throws a low kick but it's checked well by Cole. A low kick from Cole misses and Moore counters with a one-two to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cole moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Moore misses with an uppercut
and Cole connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Moore tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cole throws a series of punches but Moore avoids them all with ease. Moore takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cole ducks under a wild hook from Moore. Cole works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Cole tries to bum rush Moore with a series of wild strikes but Moore uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cole dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Archie Moore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A jab from Moore misses. Cole misses with a hook to the body
and Moore counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Cole dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Cole jabs at Moore's body. Moore takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Cole uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Moore. Cole dips to his left and cracks Moore with an uppercut! Nice shot lands for Cole. Cole has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Moore motions for Cole to come forward. Moore throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Cole doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Cole cracks Moore with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Moore scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Cole bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Moore's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moore is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Moore takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Cole stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole with a lazy takedown attempt and Moore connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Moore swings widly with a right hand
and Cole counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Moore is rocked! Moore misses with a right hand and Cole counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Oh Moore is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Moore looks to land a right hand but Cole moved out of range. Cole is trying hard to land a takedown here. Moore sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Moore seems to have got his legs back now. Moore lands a nice shot to the body.
Cole connects with a nice looking jab.
Cole takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Moore takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Cole lands with a straight right. Moore didn't see that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moore throws a body punch but Cole moves out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cole! But no joy. The fight moves into the clinch position. Cole misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Cole misses with a short punch on the inside. Moore stalling in the clinch but Cole improves position. Cole breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Moore throws a hook to the side of Cole's head but Cole sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cole looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Cole clobbers Moore with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Moore throws a leg kick and Cole counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Cole trying to control from half guard but Moore is working away. Cole is looking to advance position but Moore won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cole lands a nice short elbow. Moore is in trouble now - Cole has advanced to mount! Cole landing strikes from the mount and Moore is in trouble! Poor strikes thrown by Cole there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Cole can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Moore is looking to escape. Moore avoids a series of strikes thrown by Cole.
Moore takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Cole tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Cole throwing strikes here but Moore is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Moore blocking the ground and pound. Cole throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Cole takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Cole sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Cole looking to finish with strikes here!

Michael Cole showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Cole feints and then cracks Moore's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Moore down. The fighters circling - Moore throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Despite the aggression on Cole's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Moore closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Cole digs a good body shot into Moore's ribs. Cole works Moore's body with a nice hook. Cole shoots in looking for a takedown. Moore tries to sprawl out of it but Cole keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moore manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Moore is looking to counter with a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cole fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Moore checks it well. Moore takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Michael Cole has been cut. Moore keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cole feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Moores jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Moore throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Moore throws a front kick aimed at Cole's knee but Cole avoids it well. Cole misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Archie Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Cole. Cole lands a glancing blow to the side of Moore's head. Moore lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Cole with a lazy takedown attempt and Moore counters with a nice leg kick. Archie Moore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Moore swivels and escapes. Moore is looking to counter punch. Cole throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cole fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cole, as that shot connected.
Moore misses with a hook. Cole ducked under it nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moore on the wrong end of a nice hook. Moore fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cole manages to avoid it. Cole slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Moore misses with a right hand and Cole counters with a straight right hand. Moore takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore throws a right hand that misses
and Cole counters with a crisp one two that drops Moore! Cole thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Moore to his feet! Moore is in big trouble! Moore looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Moore looks to score with a jab to the body but Cole is just out of range. Cole changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moore tries to avoid it but Cole manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moore to the ground. Moore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A little feinted left hand from Moore on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Moore takes a body punch but keeps moving. A chopping leg kick lands by Moore. Moore throws a leg kick that is checked enabling Cole to counter with a crisp jab. Cole with a body punch. A glancing blow. Moore throws a lazy right hand but Cole sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Cole let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Cole throws a body shot but no joy. Cole connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cole moves away from the strike by Moore. Moore on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Cole scores with a jab to the body. Moore tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cole was well out of range. Poor timing from Moore. Cole throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Moore. Cole loads up on a big right hand but Moore slips the punch. Cole scores with a shot to the body.
Cole swings for the body but Moore moves out of range.
Moore pushes Cole up against the cage in a clinch. Michael Cole is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Moore misses with a hook to the ribs.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Cole comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Cole winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
